What was the highlight of AluaSoul Costa Malaga

Cleaning could be better...

Location was ideal as only 3 min walk from train station and I only stayed here for 1 night before an early morning flight home. Dinner and breakfast had a good choice, nice bread. Bed was comfy. Shower was hot & powerful. Staff were friendly and helpful. A mixture of different age groups staying in the hotel.

Ants & cockroach in my first room. Reception moved me to another room which was better. Floors were not clean, lots of hair & dust. 2nd room was located next to the lift which was squeaky & noisy. Hotel located on a busy road and rooms are not soundproofed so if your a light sleeper, take ear plugs like I did. Good value for money though.

Excellent location to the centre of Town and the nightlife. Lots of restaurants nearby. Staff super friendly, from really helpful front desk to cleaners. Asked for an upgrade at additional charge and Reception provided additional Alua Club. Rented car from the from front desk, very easy as car dropped to door. Poolside lots of lounge seats with nice garden. Vertigo rooftop bar is a must do. Amazing views.

In Feb as air conditioning is not turned by most places in Torremolinos.

Would probably stay again.

The breakfast was super. Most of the staff were efficient, and a few were just excellent, especially Marjorie and Roman, in the dining room.

Housekeeping was hit & miss.

Overall nice stay , would definitely come again.

We booked a Junior Suite that had an extra large double bed,more room and a very new bathroom, well worth the extra money. I’m sure you’ll struggle to find a better Hotel bedroom in the centre of Torremillnos.

Breakfast was poor. Cold plates, cheap sausages and watered down breakfast juice. Not in keeping with the rest of the Hotel.

What was the highlight of AluaSoul Costa Malaga

Great time in Torremolinos in off season.

The most important is that the staff is extremely great! Anyone we had a discussion, a problem solution or even just a kind chat was absolutely friendly, helpful and polite. Everything else just comes after it, like the perfect breakfast, a comfortable location of the hotel and the lack of noisy kids which made us happy (btw we left 4 kids at home :) )

Actually there are some things which may need some improvement. Our bed mattress was worn out at the hip area. I could place a bended towel under the mattress to compensate the dip which made it a bit better. Also the room door had visible gaps around the frame, which I believe could be noisy in the peak season if there is more movement in the corridor.

Off peak stay

All staff were very friendly and helpful. Sky bar is nice, hotel has a pool, location is really good for the station and central for exploring. Beds are soft but comfy.

Smell of drains in the room sometimes and ants appeared in the bathroom. Otherwise room was clean and comfy. Walls seem thin, can hear any noise from other rooms. Stayed when it wasn't busy but could be more of a problem then. Lifts are a bit slow.

Lovely staff, room was nice but needs more effort to be 4 star.

Staff are lovely. So kind and friendly. These people are a great asset to the hotel. Reception and maintenance staff are brilliant. The key stopped working in my room and it was resolved super fast without drama. The room was nice, though lacking in some expectations of 4 star. There was a sign saying "enjoy coffee and tea as a courtesy" refill available at additional cost. There was no coffee in room

- lack of coffee in room. It is ridiculous to charge for refills of instant coffee. I have travelled to 53 countries and never been asked to pay for instant coffee. - a bottle of water should be left in each room in 4 star Hotel - I have 2 bookings this week similar price, one included breakfast the other didn't.

Very near Train Station for the Airport and very central to Torremolinos Town Centre for all Restaurants and Bars, Shops etc. 5 Minutes to walk to Train Station and 15 to 20 Minutes to the Bajondillo Beach. Receptionists on check in very nice and helpful.

No Issues as I wish it was a few nights longer. But stayed the 1 night as had been staying in Nerja for the previous 6 nights and wanted to be near Airport on the last night as had Morning Flight.
